  • What is the breast cancer rate in Israel?

    Between 2015 – 2019,23163 women were diagnosed with breast cancer. Last year, the rate of men diagnosed with breast cancer is about 1% of all diagnoses. All the diagnosed men are over 50 years old, when in 2018, 51 men were diagnosed with breast cancer and in 2019, 48 men.
  • What is the most common cancer in Israel?

    The Israel National Cancer Registry is a population-based registry, whose purpose is the collection of data on the incidence of cancers among Israeli citizens.

    Prostate cancer (approximately 21% of all new cases)Colorectal cancer.Lung cancer.
  • In Israel, each year, around 30,000 people are diagnosed with cancer, and about 10,000 die of cancer. In fact, cancer is the most common cause of death in Israel and accounts for 25% of the total mortality each year.
