Students will learn persuasive techniques used in advertising, specifically, pathos or emotion, logos or logic, and ethos or credibility/character. They will use this knowledge to analyze advertising in a variety of sources: print, television, and Web-based advertising.
What makes a good advertising plan?
A good advertising plan should help the advertiser tell people about the business, about the products and services for sale, and the benefits of buying from your business. It should also build customer confidence, attract new customers, keep present customers coming back and help make the business profitable.
