How are language processing skills measured?
Language processing skills including comprehension, expression, and retrieval are measured in fifteen tests, in four language structure categories: lexical/semantic, syntactic, supralinguistic, and pragmatic. The different tests can be administered on an as-needed basis.

However, a speech-language pathologist, also called a speech therapist, can assess and diagnose an LPD.
