What is ATS & how does it work?
ATS consists of: A set of real-time tools for diagnosing and debugging the hardware-layer and iAP protocol performance of accessories. A set of automated validation tools for ensuring that new accessories more fully comply with the MFi specifications. Various hardware components for connecting to various types of MFi accessories.
How does Apple service toolkit Ast 2 work?
In the original Apple Service Toolkit (AST), the diagnostics are "pulled" to the device (using the device itself) from the local Diagnostic Gateway server. In AST 2, the device under test communicates directly with the Diagnostic Console over the cloud. Every time you run a diagnostic, you will get the latest version.

There are 2 main ways to test ATS compatability: •nscurl: nscurl is a utility added in MAC OS X 10.11 "El Capitan" that runs a ats diagnotics test •SSL labs: SSL labs also tests handshake with ATS and can tell you if a server is compatible with ATS This tool is a python wrapper around these 2 methods and adds some file I/O to do this in bulk github.com
How to run this tool
Download all the files Open terminal and run python ats_check.py -i input_file_with_inputs to test multiple inputs present in newline sperated input file or python ats_check.py -u url_to_test to test a single url github.com
