How do I transfer shares to a new participant?
To perform the transfer, send a written letter of instruction to the Plan Administrator setting forth the full registration name and address of the new participant, as well as the social security number of the new participant. The letter should indicate the number of shares which should be transferred to the new participant.
Does AST provide cost basis information?
AST can provide cost basis information for covered securities starting January 1, 2011, the effective date of the new cost basis reporting legislation. AST will not provide historical cost basis information prior to this date. Does AST utilize the DTCC CBRS services to transfer cost basis information?
Can dividend reinvestment plan shares be transferred?
