median mode formula
What is mode formula?
Ans.
In ungrouped data, we can find mode just by arranging the data in ascending and descending order and then finding the value which occurs most frequently.
In grouped data we can find the mode by using the following formula, Mode = L + (f 1– f 0/2f 1– f 0– f 2 ) h.The median is 6.
The mode is the number that appears most which is 7.
How do you find the median?
Finding the median
To find the median: Arrange the data points from smallest to largest.
If the number of data points is odd, the median is the middle data point in the list.
If the number of data points is even, the median is the average of the two middle data points in the list.
How do you find the mode and median?
To find the mean, add up the values in the data set and then divide by the number of values that you added.
To find the median, list the values of the data set in numerical order and identify which value appears in the middle of the list.
To find the mode, identify which value in the data set occurs most often.
