When can I renew my AHA provider and instructor card?
All AHA Provider and Instructor cards that expired in March, April, May, or June 2020 are now able to renew their cards up to 120 days from the renewal date that is outlined on their cards. For AHA Provider and Instructor cards that had a renewal month of March 2020, they must have renewed them by the end of July 2020.
What is the AHA BLS instructor renewal course?
The AHA BLS Instructor Renewal course evaluates the methods of instruction needed to effectively conduct resuscitation courses. In order to attend this course, instructors must have current AHA BLS Instructor status and meet the instructor renewal criteria as outlined by the AHA Program Administration Manual.
Does the American Heart Association certify trainers?
The American Heart Association does not certify trainers, doctors or training courses created by other organizations. Any claims that training products or materials are “AHA Certified,” “AHA Approved,” “AHA Compliant” or “created by AHA certified” people, where the “AHA” means the American Heart Association, are not true.
