Définition de Code pénal
Le code pénal, ensemble des textes juridiques définissant les infractions et les sanctions (dites sanctions pénales) applicables, est la codification du droit pénal.
En France, le nouveau Code pénal est entré en vigueur le 1er mars 1994 en remplacement du Code pénal de 1810.Le code pénal est un recueil organisé de textes juridiques dans le champ du droit pénal.
Le code de procédure pénale est également un recueil de textes juridiques ayant pour fonction d'organiser les étapes d'une procédure pénale.
Quel sont les articles du Code pénal ?
Le Code Penal comprend : a) le Liv re I, constitue des articles 1 a 1 0 1 ; b) le Livre 11 , constitue des articles 102 a 361 ; c) le decret portant partie reglementaire du Code Penal definissant les contraventions, des articles 362 a 370 ; d) les articles 371 et 372 fixant les dispositions transitoires et finales.
