What is the Penal Code?
The Penal Code, which is applicable to all (including both Muslims or non-Muslims) and administered by the Civil Courts, is a law that codifies most criminal offences and punishments in our country. It was first introduced through Straits Settlement Penal Code (Ordinance No IV of 1871).
