What does the ILO do about workplace violence?
For many years the ILO’s concern and action in areas closely related to workplace violence has resulted in a series of studies and publications, in particular on occupational stress, and drug and alcohol abuse at the workplace. One specific form of violence – sexual harassment – has, for a long time, been high on the action agenda of the ILO.
What is the ILO code of practice?
The ILO code of practice identifies the policies and strategies required for an effective fight against violence at work, together with the roles and responsibilities of governments, employers’ and workers’ organizations, and the public, customers and clients.
